James in da House

de Blasio's House, That is...

On Friday, The Crain's Insider reported that Speaker candidate de Blasio can now count among his supporters Brooklyn Councilwoman Letitia James.

The Insider goes on to say that Bill has all of 14 solid votes in his corner ... which, we can't confirm nor deny.

We've heard numbers as high as 17 ... as low as 13 ... as well as just about all other numbers in between.

So for the time being we'll just leave it at that...

Nobody has a single vote. Manton has 51. If he picks Bill, then Bill has 51 (including Quinn et al.). If he picks someone else--like Quinn--then she has 51 (including Bill et al.).

For example, last time Angel Rodriguez claimed to have 35+ votes but in the end even he voted for Gifford.

Please! none of us really know how this race will play out. This year it can be different.....we will just wait and see. And I do not beleive Quinn or De Blasio will vote for anyone else but themselves

DeBlasio's 13, 17, 28, whatever.... Whoever he claims he has,has either been strong armed, I mean coerced, sorry, I meant convinced by Bertha Lewis and her band or merry wackos and the labor organizations, or they have been promised the moon by DeBlasio, of which he can not deliver. Either way, none of those numbers are real except for one, his own.
