Why Comrie Didn't Show Last Night?

We Don't Know

But what we do know is that Comrie is to unions, lobbyists and PACs as Katz (who also didn't show) is to real estate ...

a partially-owned subsidiary. Combined, Speaker candidate Comrie received over $78,000 (32%) from this group during the 2005 election cycle.

To his credit though, Comrie has managed to maintain his grassroots base of support. 47% of his contributions are $100 or less, and his average contribution hovers at a reasonable $239.

Again, we invite Comrie (and Katz) to explain.

You're being unfair to Comrie. He's not a wholly-owned subsidiary of unions, lobbyists, and PACs. The Real Estate Board owns a piece of him too.

Quinn is owned as much as Melinda, and far more dangerous.
